I'm nominating Andrew because he has shown extraordinary courage after being personally targeted by CBP and HSI at Boston Logan Airport simply because he is an immigration attorney. Rather than retreat from an intimidating abuse of power by armed agents of the Government, Andrew chose to push back, demanding accountability and defending himself and his clients and their privileged information from attacks on the Fourth Amendment. His actions reflect the spirit of this award: using the law not only to serve clients, but to move justice forward.
